For the Dabeli Filling

For the Garnish

  • 0.5 cup Peanuts lightly roasted and seasoned with oil, and dabeli masala (optional), chili powder, roasted, salt
  • 0.5 cup Chickpea Noodle crispy chickpea flour noodles, thin
  • 0.33 cup Pomegranate Seeds

  • 5 Buns hamburger buns or similar
  • 2 tbsp Butter for toasting buns

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dabeli Filling

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté briefly.
  • Add chopped onions and tomatoes; sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, soy sauce, and chili sauce.
  • Season with dabeli masala and salt. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Transfer to a bowl and let it cool.

Prepare the Buns

  • Lightly toast the buns with butter or oil.
  • Spread a thin layer of chili sauce inside each bun (optional).

Assemble the Dabeli

  • Spread the cooled potato and vegetable filling evenly onto one half of each bun.
