Ingredients
- 2 cup Cabbage finely chopped
- 1 Carrot grated
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Water
- Oil for deep frying
- 1/4 cup Bell Peppers cappsicum, cubes
- 2 tbsp Soya Sauce
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Pepper black
- 1 tsp Sauce optional chilly
Instructions
Prepare the Cabbage Fritters
- First, in a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, ginger paste, and chili powder.
- Mix well, then squeeze out excess water from the cabbage mixture. Gradually add 2 tablespoons of water to form a soft dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls. Heat oil in a deep pan or wok for deep frying.
- Deep fry the cabbage balls until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them and drain on paper towels.
Make the Sauce
- Heat oil in a wok or large pan. Add finely chopped green chili and sauté briefly.
- Add the cubed bell pepper and sauté until slightly softened.
- Now add the chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir-fry on high heat for a minute until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the fried cabbage balls and toss gently to coat them evenly in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
