- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed jeera, roasted
- 1/2 tsp Salt or as per taste
Instructions

- Take a serving glass and pour the buttermilk.
Recipe Notes
Buttermilk also can be used in cooking gravy. It is digestive drink for summer.
Additional Tips
- For an extra layer of flavor and digestive benefits, try adding a pinch of freshly grated ginger or chopped mint leaves before blending the chaas.
- If you prefer a slightly tangy taste, use curd (yogurt) that is a day old, as it develops a more pronounced sourness perfect for chaas.
- Lightly roast whole cumin seeds and crush them just before adding to the buttermilk, which will intensify the aroma and taste compared to pre-ground cumin powder.
- Store leftover chaas in a glass bottle in the refrigerator and shake well before serving, as the spices tend to settle at the bottom.
