It is a very special street food of Indore from Madhya Pradesh.
It ia blend of grated corn , spices and creaminess of milk.
Bhutte ki Kees is also known as makayche kanasachi kees or corn upma and is perfect for rainy evenings.
And even for elders having teeth problem can enjoy corn this way.

Ingredients
- 2 corn cobs / 200 gms corn kernels
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
- Pinch of Asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder optional
- 1 lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grated/ chopped ginger
- 1 finely chopped green chilly
- 1 tbsp chopped corriander
- 1 tbsp Grated coconut
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 strawberry for garnish optional

Instructions
- Grind corn kernels coarsely in a blender. If you have corn cob then grate it with hand grater.(Prefer using corn cob and grating it for best results)
- In a pan heat oil and add mustard seeds, asafoetida and cumin seeds.
- As they sparkle add green chillies , ginger and corn paste.
- Add salt and turmeric powder and cook it for a while till its colour changes.
- Now add milk and cook till it becomes dry.
- Switch off the flame and add lemon juice, 1/2 tbsp corriander, 1/2 tbsp coconut and mix.
- Transfer to the serving dish and garnish with rest of the chopped corriander and coconut.
- Put a strawberry on top and enjoy it fresh and hot.
Notes
- You can also make it spicy or add 1 tsp sugar as per taste and add pomegranate kernels as well.
