Ingredients
Banana Cake Ingredients
- 2 Banana mashed, ripe
- 100 gm Butter softened, unsalted
- 100 gm All-Purpose Flour
- 100 gm Sugar caster sugar
- 2 Egg large
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 50 ml Milk
- 1 Loaf Pan 7-inch baking tin
Boston Cream Filling Ingredients
Chocolate Sauce Ingredients
- 200 ml Heavy Cream fresh
- 400 gm Milk Chocolate chopped
- Optional Oreo Crumbs Or Brownie Bits for garnish
Instructions
Make the Banana Cake
- Cream together the softened butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract. Gently stir in the milk.
- Pour the batter into the prepared 7-inch loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before crumbling it.
Prepare the Boston Cream Filling
- In a bowl, gently combine the prepared custard and whipped cream.
Make the Chocolate Sauce
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Once heated, remove from heat and add the chopped milk chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
