For the Mango Puree

  • 2 large Mangoes ripe, sweet mangoes; ataulfo or kent varieties recommended
  • 2 tbsp Milk whole milk or cream recommended for richness

Prepare the Mango Puree

  • Blend 2 ripe mangoes with 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth and creamy. The mixture should be thick.

Make the Whipped Cream

  • In a chilled bowl, beat 1 cup of heavy whipping cream with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Assemble the Dessert Shots

  • Chop the remaining 1/2 cup of mango into small pieces for garnish.
  • Transfer the mango puree and whipped cream into separate piping bags, or use a spoon for layering.
  • In serving glasses, layer the mango puree and whipped cream alternatively, starting and ending with the puree.
  • Garnish with fresh mango chunks and a dollop of extra whipped cream (optional).

Chill and Serve
