Ingredients
 

  • 1 Onion size chopped
  • 4 Tomato chopped ripe
  • 4 Green Chillies chopped
  • 10 leaves Curry
  • 2 cloves Garlic big
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1/4 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1 Whole red chilli
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed
  • 1 pinch asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 cup Mint chopped
  • 1/4 cup Coriander optional chopped
  • to piece Tamrind Pieces According To Taste tamrind according taste
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste

Instructions
 

  • 1.Heat oil in a kadai.
  • 2.Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds and hing.
  • 3.Add curry leaves,whole red chili,green chilies,garlic,ginger and tamarind.
  • 4.Now add onion,stir till onion becomes pinkish color.
  • 5.Add tomatoes stir for 3-4 min.
  • 6.Add coconut,mint leaves.
  • 7.Cook till all water from tomatoes dries up.
  • 8.Now add salt.
  • 9.Make it cool down.
  • 10.Grind it to a course paste.
  • 11.Your tomato-mint chutney is ready,garnish with mint leaves

Recipe Notes

  • If you want to store for some more days skip coconut and don’t add water at all.
