Recipe Notes
Expert Tips
- For a sweeter salad, add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup to the dressing.
- Feel free to add other vegetables to this salad, such as shredded carrots, bell peppers, or shredded kohlrabi.
- Toasted sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds can also be used in place of melon seeds.
- If making ahead, prepare the vegetables and dressing separately and combine just before serving to prevent the cabbage from wilting.
