Ingredients
Amla and Aromatics
- 250 gm Gooseberries amla, approximately 5 medium-sized gooseberries
- 2 Chilies adjust to your spice preference, green
- 4-5 clove Garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
Spices and Herbs
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 bunch Coriander fresh coriander
Seasoning and Finishing

- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Water to help with blending, if needed
Instructions
Prepare the Amla
- Wash the gooseberries thoroughly and cut them into small pieces, removing the seeds.
Blend the Ingredients
- Combine the prepared gooseberries, green chilies, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, salt, and a tablespoon of water in a blender.
- Blend until you achieve a smooth paste. Add more water if necessary to aid in blending.
Finish and Serve
- Transfer the chutney to a bowl. Stir in the lemon juice and mix well.
