- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour maida
- 1/4 - 1/3 cup Water add water gradually until a soft, pliable dough forms.
For Cooking the Kuuthi
- 4 tbsp Clarified Butter clarified butter
- 4 tbsp Sugar adjust to your sweetness preference, granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Cardamom ground cardamom (elaichi); can also use 2-3 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
- Pinch Salt enhances the flavor, optional
Instructions
Prepare the Dough
- Combine all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Gradually add water, mixing until a soft, pliable dough forms. Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth.
Roll and Cut the Dough
- Roll out the dough into thin circles or flatbreads (like small rotis). Cut each roti into small, bite-sized pieces.
Cook the Sweet Kuuthi
- Heat desi ghee in a pan over low heat. Add the ground cardamom (or crushed green cardamom pods) and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
