Ingredients

- 1 cup Coconut shredded
- 1 cup Pecans alternatively, use 1 cup of a mix of walnuts and almonds
- 1/2 cup Sugar granulated
- 100 gm Parmesan Cheese grated
- 10 Sultanas
For the Sweet White Sauce
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour also known as maida
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 cup Heavy Cream fresh cream
- 1/2 cup Sugar granulated
- 1 tsp Cardamom ground
Other Ingredients
- 8 sheets Lasagna Sheets
- 8 clove Cloves for sealing the lasagna rolls, whole
- 200 gm Parmesan Cheese for topping
Instructions
Prepare the Filling
- Combine shredded coconut, pecans, granulated sugar, 100g grated Parmesan cheese, and sultanas in a bowl. Mix well.
Make the Sweet White Sauce
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in all-purpose flour until smooth. Gradually whisk in milk, then stir in heavy cream, granulated sugar, and ground cardamom. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Assemble the Lasagna Rolls
- Soak lasagna sheets in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Drain and lay flat. Spread a spoonful of the coconut filling onto each sheet, then roll tightly. Secure each roll with a whole clove.
