Ingredients
For the Potatoes
- 4 Potatoes boiled until tender but not mushy, medium-sized, peeled and diced into 1-inch cubes
Spices & Flavorings
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds rai
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds jeera
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder red
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder haldi
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
Other Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds til; dry-roasted for enhanced flavor
Instructions
Prepare the Potatoes
- Boil the diced potatoes until tender but still firm. Drain well and set aside.
Sauté the Spices
- Heat the oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once the mustard seeds begin to pop, add the Kashmiri chili powder and turmeric powder. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Combine and Cook
