Ingredients

- 6 Chilies deseeded and finely chopped, green
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 2 medium Potatoes boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese crumbled
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds jeera
- 1/2 tsp Fennel Seeds saunf
- 1/2 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tsp Dry Mango Powder dried mango powder
For Serving
- 6 Saltine Crackers or similar small crackers
- 6 Jalapeño Peppers thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Bell Peppers for garnish (optional), thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
Optional: For Serving
- Tomato Ketchup or other preferred dipping sauce
Instructions
Prepare the Mirchi Roll Filling
- Combine the chopped green chilies, mashed potatoes, paneer, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, ginger paste, amchur powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix well to create a cohesive mixture. Form small balls from the mixture.
Cook the Mirchi Balls
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Carefully place the mirchi balls into the hot oil and cook until golden brown, turning frequently to ensure even cooking.
