  • 200 gm Chickpeas kala chana, soaked overnight and boiled until tender, black, dried

Sauté Aromatics

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until softened and lightly golden.

Add Spices and Chickpeas

  • Add the coriander powder, red chili powder, and chana masala to the pan. Stir well and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the boiled black chickpeas and stir to coat them evenly with the spices.

Simmer and Season

  • Add the dry mango powder and salt. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. If desired, add finely chopped green chilies at this stage for extra heat.
