Ingredients
Mushrooms & Aromatics
- 250 gm Button Mushrooms approximately 2 packets
- 1 tbsp Peppercorns black, crushed, freshly
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Coriander fresh, chopped (dhania)
- 1 tsp Coriander fresh, chopped (dhania), for garnish
Seasoning & Finishing
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
Fat & Liquids
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 cup Water
Optional additions
- 2 tbsp Cream cream (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Mushrooms
- Wash and slice the mushrooms. In a bowl, combine the mushrooms, crushed black pepper, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and vegetable oil. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
Cook the Mushrooms
- Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated mushrooms and 1/4 cup of water. Cover the pan and cook for 5-8 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender.
Finish and Serve
- Stir in the malai (if using) and cook for another 2 minutes. Stir in the fresh coriander and remove from heat. Garnish with extra coriander. Serve hot with roti, naan, or rice.
