Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cup Rice dosa rice, soaked overnight
- 1 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds methi dana
- 1/2 cup Water or as needed to achieve a smooth batter consistency
For the Dill Filling
- 1 cup Dill Leaves fresh, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Coconut freshly grated
- 1/2 cup Jaggery grated
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
For Cooking
- 2 tbsp Oil coconut oil recommended
For Serving (Optional)
- Coriander Chutney or coconut chutney, green
Instructions
Prepare the Batter
- Soak the dosa rice and fenugreek seeds in plenty of water overnight.
- The next day, blend the soaked rice and fenugreek seeds into a smooth batter using a blender. Add water as needed to adjust the consistency.
Prepare the Dill Filling
- In a separate bowl, combine the finely chopped dill leaves, grated coconut, and grated jaggery.
- Blend this mixture until it forms a smooth paste.
- Season with salt to taste.
Combine and Cook
- Gently mix the dill filling into the rice batter. Add a little more water if necessary to achieve a pourable consistency.
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
- Lightly grease the pan with oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot pan, spreading it into a thin, round crepe.
