Ingredients
 

For the Tofu Steak & Broccoli

  • 1 block Tofu firm or extra-firm, pressed and cut into 2 steaks
  • 1 cup Broccoli fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup Pine Nuts toasted
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper black, freshly ground

Instructions
 

Prepare the Black Bean Sauce

  • Combine black beans, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic in a small saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

Cook the Tofu and Broccoli

  • Add the pressed tofu steaks and broccoli florets to the black bean sauce. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the tofu is heated through and the broccoli is tender-crisp.

Assemble the Sandwich

  • Spread a thin layer of your favorite salad dressing on one slice of toasted bread.
