Ingredients
Dosa Batter & Vegetables
- 2 cup Dosa Batter i used farmz2familiez brand; adjust amount slightly depending on your batter's consistency.
- 1/2 cup Carrot grated
- 1 Onion medium size, finely chopped
- 1 Chili finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference), green
- 1/2 cup Peas fresh or frozen, green
Spices & Leavens
- 2 tbsp Coriander finely chopped, fresh cilantro
- 1/4 tsp Carom Seed carom seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
Seasoning & Other
- 1-2 tsp Salt adjust to taste, considering the salt content of your dosa batter.
- 1-2 tsp Oil for greasing the muffin tin and/or muffin liners.
- 12 Muffin Liners paper or silicone
Instructions
Prepare the Oven and Muffin Tin
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line it with paper muffin liners.
Combine Ingredients
- In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the dosa batter, grated carrot, chopped onion, green chili, green peas, coriander, ajwain, turmeric powder, baking soda, and salt. Taste and adjust salt as needed.
Fill and Bake
- Fill each muffin cup about halfway full with the batter. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven.
Baking Time
- Bake for 14-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
- Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm with chutney, yogurt, or your favorite dipping sauce.
