Ingredients
 

Dosa Batter

  • 1 cup Multi-Millet Dosa Batter farmz2familiez brand recommended, or your favorite store-bought multi-millet dosa batter. you can also use homemade batter.

Toppings & Seasoning

  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil vegetable oil or coconut oil recommended
  • 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 1/4 cup Water if batter is too thick, add water until desired consistency is reached.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Batter

  • In a medium bowl, combine the multi-millet dosa batter and salt. Add water if the batter is too thick, aiming for a slightly pourable consistency.

Cook the Dosa

  • Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, add 1 tablespoon of oil to the center.
  • Gently pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot tawa. Using the back of a spoon, immediately spread the batter into a thin, even circle.
  • Sprinkle the chopped onions evenly over the dosa.
  • Drizzle a small amount of oil around the edges of the dosa.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges begin to lift and the bottom is golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the dosa and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side until golden brown and crispy.

Serve

  • Serve the dosa hot with your favorite chutney or sambar.
