Ingredients

- 1 cup Groundnuts roasted and skinned
- 1 cup Broken Wheat dalia, small, split variety
- 1 cup Desiccated Coconut
Sweetener
- 2 cup Caster Sugar or adjust to your sweetness preference

- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder finely ground
- 1/4 tsp Ghee optional, for added richness
Instructions
Dry Roasting the Ingredients
- Dry roast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly until fragrant. Set aside.
- Dry roast the groundnuts for 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Set aside.
- Dry roast the desiccated coconut for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until lightly golden. Set aside.
- Dry roast the broken wheat (dalia) for 1 minute, until lightly toasted. Set aside.
Preparing the Groundnuts
- Remove the skins from the roasted groundnuts. Lightly crush them using your palm; they will naturally split into halves.
Combining and Finishing
- In a large bowl, combine the roasted sesame seeds, groundnuts, desiccated coconut, broken wheat, and castor sugar. If using, add cardamom powder and ghee at this stage and mix well.
