Expert Tips for the Perfect Sago Khichdi

  • For extra flavor, lightly toast the sago pearls in a dry pan before soaking. This enhances their nutty taste.
  • Don't overcook the vegetables; slightly firm texture is ideal.
  • Adjust the amount of green chilies according to your preferred spice level.
  • For a richer flavor, consider using ghee (clarified butter) instead of oil, especially if preparing this dish during fasting.
