- 1 cup Potato cooked, mashed
- 2 tbsp Onion Paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Pepper black, ground
- 1 tsp Curry Powder
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil for frying
For the Burger Assembly
- 2 Burger Buns
- 2 tbsp Butter for toasting buns
- 2-3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 2 slices Cheese cheddar or your preference
- 1/2 cup Salad and red onion rings, green, lettuce, tomato
- 2 tbsp Ketchup or your preferred burger sauce
Instructions
Prepare the Potato Patties
- Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the onion paste and garlic paste, sautéing for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the mashed potatoes, curry powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until heated through. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Shape the potato mixture into two patties.
Cook the Patties
- Heat a little oil in a separate pan. Gently fry the patties until golden brown and heated through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
