- 1 Bell Peppers sliced
- 1 Tomato sliced
- 1 Lettuce Leaf
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise or sandwich spread
- 1 cup Water for boiling egg
Instructions
Prepare the Hard-Boiled Egg
- Place one egg in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 6-8 minutes. Drain the hot water and run cold water over the egg to stop the cooking process. Peel and slice in half.
Make the Egg Patties
- In a bowl, whisk together the two eggs, finely chopped onion, green chili, bell pepper, and tomato. Add cornflour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Cook the Egg Patties
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Pour spoonfuls of the egg mixture into the pan to form small patties. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Assemble the Burger
- Slice the burger bun in half. Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the bun.
Layer the Burger
- Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a cheese slice and the cooked egg patties. Drizzle with ketchup.
Add Veggies and Top
- Top with sliced onion, bell pepper, cucumber, and tomato. Add another drizzle of ketchup and place another cheese slice on top. Place one half of the hard-boiled egg on top of the cheese.
Melt the Cheese
- Place the assembled burger in a lightly oiled pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, covering with a lid. This will help melt the cheese.
Garnish and Serve
- Garnish with the remaining half of the hard-boiled egg and serve immediately.
