Prepare the Hard-Boiled Egg

  • Place one egg in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 6-8 minutes. Drain the hot water and run cold water over the egg to stop the cooking process. Peel and slice in half.

Make the Egg Patties

  • In a bowl, whisk together the two eggs, finely chopped onion, green chili, bell pepper, and tomato. Add cornflour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Cook the Egg Patties

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Pour spoonfuls of the egg mixture into the pan to form small patties. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Assemble the Burger

  • Slice the burger bun in half. Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the bun.

Layer the Burger

  • Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a cheese slice and the cooked egg patties. Drizzle with ketchup.

Add Veggies and Top

  • Top with sliced onion, bell pepper, cucumber, and tomato. Add another drizzle of ketchup and place another cheese slice on top. Place one half of the hard-boiled egg on top of the cheese.

Melt the Cheese

  • Place the assembled burger in a lightly oiled pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, covering with a lid. This will help melt the cheese.
