Ingredients
- 2 cup Batter f2f multi dal adai
- 1.5 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 4 tbsp Refined Oil
- 2/3 cup Soya nuggets
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder haldi
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Onion one big sliced
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder red
- 1.5 Toothpicks toothpicks
Instructions
Prepare the Soya Filling
- Boil the soya nuggets according to package directions. Drain well and squeeze out excess water. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add the soya nuggets and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
Cook the Adai
- Heat a lightly oiled non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup of adai batter onto the hot skillet and spread it thinly in a circular motion, similar to making a dosa.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Add a little oil around the edges as needed.
Assemble and Serve
- Place the cooked adai on a plate. Add a spoonful of the soya filling and some sliced onions.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with salt (optional).
- Fold the adai into a roll and secure with a toothpick.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
