Ingredients
For the Chocolate Glass
- 50 gm Chocolate for decorating the glass, or dark chocolate, white
- 2 Oreo Cookies for glass decoration
For the Milkshake
- 5-6 Oreo Cookies for the milkshake
- 1 cup Milk chilled, full-fat
- 2 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
- 2 tbsp Nutella
For the Monster Topping
- ½ cup Cream optional, whipped
- 2 Oreo Cookies for monster face
- Candy Eyes edible, small
Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate. A double boiler or microwave works well. Let it cool slightly until it thickens a bit.
- Spread the melted chocolate on the outer rim of the serving glass. Adhere crushed Oreo cookies to the chocolate. Chill the glass in the refrigerator while you prepare the milkshake.
- Crush 4-5 Oreo cookies. A ziplock bag and a rolling pin work perfectly for this.
- In a blender, combine the crushed Oreos, the remaining whole Oreos (reserve 2 for the monster face), milk, ice cream, and Nutella. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the milkshake into the chilled glass. Add two scoops of ice cream.
- To create the monster face, use one whole Oreo cookie as the base. For the wings, carefully split the other Oreo cookie in half and remove the cream filling. Cut the remaining cookie half into four pieces to create the monster's ears.
- Use a bit of melted white chocolate to attach the wings and ears to the whole Oreo cookie. Make small dots of white chocolate for the eyes and a single dot for the tooth. Attach the candy eyes to the white chocolate dots.
- Pipe the whipped cream onto the milkshake, creating a small mound higher than the glass rim. Gently place the Oreo monster face onto the whipped cream.
