While you can remove the heads if you prefer, I love chewing on grilled prawn heads, so I left them on.

Ingredients
- 4 Prawns medium
- 2 tbsp Butter melted
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 -2 clove Garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Parsley choppedย or dil or a pinch of dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper to taste, or salt salt ground
- 1/2 tsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Lemon lemon wedge, for garnishing

- Clean the prawns thoroughly under running water.
- To devein the prawns, you can either use a knife to make a slight cut on the upper part of the flesh or simply scrape the flesh lightly and pull off the vein.
- Insert a skewer from the tail to the head. This will result in a perfectly straight prawn once the skewer has been removed.
- In a bowl, combine garlic, butter, parsley or dill leaves, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and red chili flakes. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- Place the prawns in this mixture and rub them with the spices. Cover or seal the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour.
- After 30 minutes, remove the prawns from the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and keep it on grill mode.
- Take a grilling rack lined with aluminum foil and place the prawns on it. Brush a little vegetable oil over the prawns. Then, place this rack on the top section of the preheated oven.
- Grill for 5 minutes per side or until the shells are bright red and the prawn flesh is easily flaked with a fork. Be careful not to overcook, as the prawns will become hard.
- Transfer the grilled prawns to a serving plate and serve with lemon butter sauce. Enjoy your delicious dish!
"Method of making lemon butter sauce"
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add chopped garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and parsley flakes. Bring to a boil, then cook and stir for about 10 minutes, or until thickened.
- Pour the sauce over the grilled prawns, sprinkle chopped parsley or dill leaves, and serve.
Recipe Notes
- If you do not have oven you can pan fried the prawns.
- Instead of using parsley or dil leaves,you can use chopped coriander.
- 4 small Wooden Skewers - (Break one skewer from middle to make it two)
