Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for the Perfect Cassata Ice Cream Cake
- For a richer flavor, use high-quality vanilla ice cream and a homemade vanilla cake.
- Experiment with different types of nuts or add other toppings like candied fruit or chocolate shavings for extra flair.
- If using homemade cake, ensure it is completely cool before assembling to prevent the ice cream from melting too quickly.
- To make slicing easier, let the cake sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving. This will help slightly soften the ice cream for cleaner cuts.
