- 1 cup Cashews chopped black raisins and tutti-frutti
- 2 tbsp Chocolate chopped thickly, dark
- 1 tbsp Sugar powdered
- 1 Glazed Cherries chopped
- 1 tsp Gelatin bloomed
- 1.5 Orange chopped candied
- 2 tbsp Rum brandy or
- 1 tsp Chocolate Chips optional dark
- 1 tbsp Cream sour
- 1 tsp Strawberry Compote or rum warmed with rum
Instructions
Prepare the Rum-Soaked Ingredients
- Combine cashews, raisins, tutti-frutti, and cherries in a bowl. Pour rum over the mixture, ensuring all ingredients are coated. Let it soak for at least 2 hours, or preferably longer for maximum flavor infusion.
Make the Ricotta Cream
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, condensed milk, heavy cream, powdered sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Blend until completely smooth and creamy. If using gelatin, gently stir in the bloomed gelatin (see note below).
Assemble the Dessert
- Gently fold the rum-soaked cashew mixture and chopped dark chocolate into the ricotta cream. Spoon a small amount of strawberry compote or warmed rum into the bottom of serving glasses.
Chill and Garnish
- Top with the ricotta cream mixture, leaving a little space at the top. Chill for at least 4-5 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set completely. Garnish with dark chocolate shavings, chocolate chips, or candied orange before serving cold.
Blooming the Gelatin (Optional)
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water. Let it stand for 10 minutes to bloom. Gently heat until dissolved, then let cool to room temperature before adding to the ricotta cream.
