Instructions
- Add yoghurt and chilled water to a blender jar at first.
- Blitz on high for a minute or two and then add sugar and bru instant coffee powder too.
- Blitz all on high for 4 to 5 minutes more at a stretch for that creamy and foamy delicious lassi.
- Garnish with slivered almonds or any dry fruits or nuts of your choice. Serve it chilled in two tall serving glasses and enjoy this amazing drink to the last sip. Happy Sipping !!!!!!!!!!!
Recipe Notes
Freeze this lassi for atleast 30 minutes before serving. This makes it more creamier. All the extra cream gets collected at the top of the pitcher and you will be amazed to see all that froth and thick cream at the top while sipping it that you actually eat it with a spoon. Make sure you use fresh homemade yoghurt.
Additional Tips
- For an extra creamy and café-style texture, use full-fat Greek yoghurt and blend with a few ice cubes—this will make your Koffee Lassi ultra-smooth and frothy.
- To infuse deeper coffee flavor, dissolve the instant coffee powder in a tablespoon of hot water before adding it to the blender; this ensures no granules remain and enhances the coffee kick.
- Try swapping slivered almonds with crushed biscotti or chocolate-covered coffee beans as a garnish for a different texture and a more decadent twist.
- If you prefer a vegan version, substitute dairy yoghurt with coconut or almond yoghurt and use a plant-based sweetener like agave syrup or maple syrup for a similar creamy, sweet experience.
