Ingredients
For the Paneer Filling
- 250 gm Cottage Cheese indian cottage cheese
- 100 gm Yogurt greek yogurt, hung
- 1 tbsp Gram Flour besan
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 0.5 tsp Pepper black, freshly ground
For the Vegetable Filling
- 1 Onion julienned, medium
- 0.5 Bell Peppers green, julienned
- 0.5 Bell Peppers julienned, yellow
- 0.5 Bell Peppers julienned, red
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
For the Roll
- 4 Tortillas 6-8 inch
- 4 tbsp Butter melted
- 0.5 cup Cheese Spread
- 0.25 cup Mayonnaise or mint chutney
- 0.25 cup Honey or your favorite sauce
- 1 tbsp Mustard Sauce
- 1 tbsp Chili Sauce red
- 1 tsp Tabasco Sauce or other hot sauce
- 2 tsp Oregano flakes
- 1 tsp Chili Flakes
Instructions
Prepare the Vegetable Filling
- Julienne the onion and bell peppers. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the vegetables for 1-2 minutes until slightly softened. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Set aside.
Prepare the Paneer Filling
- In a bowl, combine hung curd and gram flour. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk until smooth. Add the julienned paneer and gently mix to coat. Set aside for 10-15 minutes to allow the paneer to marinate.
Cook the Tortillas
- Heat a lightly oiled skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook each tortilla for about 30 seconds per side, or until lightly warmed and pliable.
Assemble the Kathi Rolls
- Spread melted butter and cheese spread evenly over each tortilla. Place the sauteed vegetables in the center. Arrange the marinated paneer in a line on top of the vegetables. Drizzle with honey, mustard sauce, red chili sauce, Tabasco sauce, oregano flakes, and chili flakes.
Roll and Serve
- Carefully roll up each tortilla tightly. Serve immediately while hot. Enjoy!
