- 500 gm Chicken boneless, cut into 1-inch pieces, skinless
- 1 tsp Pepper black
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1.5 tsp Salt for seasoning, or to taste
For Coating
- 2 cup All-Purpose Flour also known as maida
For Frying
- 2 cup Vegetable Oil or enough for deep frying
For the Honey Barbecue Sauce
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/8 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, the chicken pieces, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and eggs. Mix thoroughly to coat the chicken.
Fry the Chicken
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- In a shallow tray, spread the remaining 1 cup of all-purpose flour.
- Dredge each chicken piece in the flour, shaking off any excess. Carefully place the floured chicken into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry until golden brown and cooked through, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the Honey Barbecue Sauce
- In a separate frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the barbecue sauce, honey, and tomato sauce. Stir well to combine.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Gently fold the fried chicken pieces into the honey barbecue sauce, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Serve
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
