Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Ginger chopped
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 Carbonated Water or soda soda bottle
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
- In a pan, add chopped ginger, sugar and water. Cook the mixture on medium for high flame for 2-3 min till sugar dissolves. Do not over cook the mixture, switch off the flame immediately once sugar dissolves.
- Cover the pan and steep for minimum 1 hour. Strain the ginger sugar syrup and store the syrup in bottle.
- To prepare the drink, in a serving glass, add ice cubes and add 3-4 tsp of syrup along with lemon juice and soda. Add in few slices of lemon and serve chilled.
