Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Sprouts Mixed, Moong and chana, steamed
- 1/4 cup Onion Finely chopped
- 1/4 cup Tomato Finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Flaxseed Powder Added at the end
- 2 teaspoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Curd Fresh, on the side
Instructions
Preparing the Base
- Heat oil and add cumin seeds until they crackle.
- Add onion and saute until soft, then add tomato and turmeric and cook until blended.
Cooking the Oats
- Add steamed sprouts and oats and stir for a minute.
- Pour in about 1 cup water and salt. Cook until oats are soft and the mix thickens.
Finishing
- Turn off heat and stir in flaxseed powder so it is not cooked on high heat.
- Serve warm with curd on the side.
