Ingredients

- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour also known as maida
- 100 gm Sweetened Milk condensed
- 2 tbsp Yogurt also known as curd
- 1 tbsp Sugar powdered
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder also known as elaichi
- 1 tbsp Butter for greasing the molds, unsalted
For Assembly & Garnish
- 4 pcs Gulab Jamun
- 7 pcs Pistachios chopped, for garnish
- 1 large Egg for binding
Instructions
Prepare the Batter
- In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Sieve the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda together three times to ensure a light texture.
- Add the cardamom powder and sweetened condensed milk to the yogurt mixture. Whisk until well combined.
- Gently fold in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Crack in one large egg and mix until fully incorporated.
Prepare the Molds
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
- Grease your cupcake molds generously with unsalted butter.
Assemble and Bake
- Place one gulab jamun in the bottom of each prepared cupcake mold.
- Spoon the batter evenly over the gulab jamuns, filling each mold about ¾ full.
- Tap the molds gently on the countertop to remove any air bubbles.
