- 1 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour also known as maida
- 1 1/2 cup Sugar powdered
- 1 cup Gulab Jamun Mix
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Wet Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Large Eggs
Optional Topping
- 1/2 cup Tutti Frutti colored pieces or edible jelly pieces
Instructions
Prepare the Dry Ingredients
- Powder the sugar using a blender. In a large mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, gulab jamun mix, flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Whisk thoroughly to ensure no lumps.
Combine Wet Ingredients
- Gradually add the vegetable oil to the dry ingredients, mixing well. In a separate bowl, lightly whisk the eggs. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the eggs. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Prepare the Batter
- Add the tutti frutti (if using). Mix until the batter is smooth and of a dropping consistency. Let the batter rest for 5-8 minutes.
Bake the Cupcakes
