Green Beans

  • 1 lb Beans also known as french beans or string beans. trim ends before using., green

  • 2 cup Water or enough to cover the green beans

  • Wash the green beans thoroughly and trim the ends. Set aside.

Blanch the Green Beans

  • Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the green beans and blanch for 7-8 minutes, or until bright green and slightly tender. Drain well and set aside.
