- 1/4 cup Mawa
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp Clarified Butter

- 2 tbsp Coconut
- 1 Silver Vark optional
Instructions
- Heat the clarified butter in a pan over medium heat. This creates a flavorful base for the halwa.
- Coarsely grind the fresh green gram. Add the ground green gram to the pan. Stir constantly for 10-15 minutes. This ensures even cooking and prevents sticking.
- Add the sugar and milk to the pan. Stir until the mixture thickens. This creates the creamy texture of the halwa.
- Add the mawa (whole dried milk) and cardamom powder. Mix well to incorporate the flavors.
- Stir in the raisins and crushed almonds. These add sweetness and texture to the halwa.
- Pour the halwa into a serving bowl. Garnish with coconut and silver vark, if desired.
