Ingredients
Chicken & Aromatics
- 1 kg Chicken bone-in, cut into serving pieces
- 6 Garlic Cloves crushed
- 3-4 Chilies finely chopped, green, or to taste; adjust to your spice preference
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder for color and mild heat; can substitute with paprika for a milder flavor
Seasoning & Flavor
- 4.5 tbsp Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 tbsp Pepper black, freshly ground
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste

- 5 tbsp Butter salted
- 0.5 tsp Vegetable Oil for high-heat cooking, refined
- 1/4 cup Coriander Leaves dhania, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
- In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp salt, and half the crushed garlic. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (longer is better).

- Heat the vegetable oil and butter in a large pan or pot over medium heat. Add the remaining crushed garlic and green chilies. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.
