  • 3 slices Bread brown
  • 1 tbsp Canola Oil or other cooking oil
  • 2 slices Banana for garnish (optional)

Prepare the Bread

  • Cut off the crusts of the brown bread and slice each slice in half.

Make the Batter

  • Mash the ripe banana in a bowl. Add the coconut milk, wheat flour, grated ginger, freshly ground peppercorns, and honey. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

Cook the French Toast

  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over low heat. Add a small amount of canola oil to lightly grease the pan.
  • Dip each bread slice into the batter, ensuring both sides are coated evenly. Place the soaked bread slices in the preheated pan.
