  • 1-2 tbsp Milk as needed, or water

Prepare the Dough

  • Combine the shredded cheddar, parmesan, flour, salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if using) in a food processor. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Add the softened butter and pulse until the mixture is just combined.
  • With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in 1 tablespoon of milk (or water), pulsing until a dough starts to form. If needed, add the remaining tablespoon of milk to achieve a slightly sticky dough.

Shape and Bake the Crackers

  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth. Roll the dough out to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  • Use a cookie cutter or knife to cut the dough into desired shapes.
  • Place the crackers onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake to Perfection

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crackers are crisp.
  • Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
