Recipe Notes
Expert Tips
- For a richer flavor, use a combination of brown and white sugar.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor of the cupcakes.
- Don't overmix the batter, as this can result in tough cupcakes.
- To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center of a cupcake. If it comes out clean, the cupcakes are done. If there's still batter on the toothpick, bake for a few more minutes.
