  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese for serving, grated
  • 1 clove Garlic for garlic bread (optional), minced
  • 1 slice Bread for garlic bread (optional)

Make the Pesto

  • Place roasted peanuts, 4 cloves garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a food processor or blender.
  • Pulse until a coarse paste forms, about 20-30 seconds.
  • Add basil leaves and blend for another 15-20 seconds, until coarsely combined. The pesto should have a slightly grainy texture.

Cook the Pasta

  • Cook your pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta, reserving about 1/4 cup of pasta water.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the pesto to the cooked pasta. Toss to coat evenly.
