Ingredients
For the Filling
- 1 Potato boiled and mashed, medium-sized
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 1 medium Carrot finely chopped
- 1 medium Bell Peppers capsicum, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Chili Powder adjust to your spice preference, red
- 1 tsp Tandoori Masala
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Coriander finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Mint finely chopped, fresh
For the Kababs
- 200 gm Cottage Cheese indian cottage cheese
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumb
- 2 tbsp Butter for cooking
- Oil Oil for shallow frying
Instructions
Prepare the Filling
- Heat butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté until fragrant.
- Add finely chopped onions, carrots, and bell peppers. Sauté until softened.
- Stir in red chili powder, tandoori masala, and salt. Cook for a minute.
- Add mashed potatoes, chopped tomatoes, cilantro, and mint. Mix well and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Kababs
- Cut paneer into thin, rectangular slices. Spread a spoonful of the filling onto one paneer slice. Top with another paneer slice to create a sandwich.
- Dip each stuffed paneer piece into a mixture of cornflour and water. Then, coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
Cook the Kababs
- Heat oil in a shallow pan. Carefully place the paneer kababs in the pan and shallow fry until golden brown on both sides.
