Ingredients
For the Meat Filling
- 150 gm Meat (beef, minced, mutton, or chicken)
- 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
- 1 tsp Garlic Paste
- 2 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tsp Chili Powder red
- 1 tsp Allspice ground
- 2 tbsp Coriander dhania, chopped
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp Oil for sautéing
For the Potato Balls
- 2 medium Potato mashed
For Coating
- 2 Eggs beaten
- 1 cup Breadcrumb
Instructions
Prepare the Meat Filling
- Sauté minced meat in oil until browned. Add tomato puree, garlic paste, ginger paste, red chili powder, salt and allspice. Stir well and cook until the meat is tender. Stir in chopped coriander. Set aside to cool.
Prepare the Potato Balls
- Boil and mash the potatoes until smooth. Add salt and pepper.
Assemble and Fry
- Shape mashed potatoes into small balls. Make a well in the center of each ball and fill with the cooked minced meat mixture. Gently shape the potato balls back into an oval form.
- Dip each potato ball in beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in breadcrumbs. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Serve hot.
