  • 1 cup Noodles boiled, any type suitable for frying (e.g., chow mein noodles), egg noodles

  • Mix the cornstarch with the boiled noodles, ensuring each noodle is evenly coated.

Deep Fry the Noodles

  • Heat the refined oil in a wok or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the coated noodles and deep fry until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Make the Honey Sauce

  • In a small, nonstick saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, swirling the pan occasionally, but DO NOT STIR. Allow the sugar to caramelize until it turns a deep amber color.
