Ingredients
For the Dough
- 2 cup All-Purpose Flour also known as maida, maida
- 1 cup Spinach fresh spinach, finely chopped or pureed
- 2 tbsp Refined Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
For the Filling
- 1 cup Potato boiled and diced
- 1/2 cup Peas fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup Coriander fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds lightly toasted
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder red
- 1/2 tsp Carom Seed carom seeds
- 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil for sauteing the filling
Instructions
Prepare the Dough
- Combine all-purpose flour, salt, baking soda, 2 tbsp oil, and pureed spinach in a bowl. Knead into a firm dough. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Make the Filling
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add diced potatoes, peas, sesame seeds, and all spices. Sauté until fragrant and peas are tender (about 5 minutes). Stir in chopped cilantro. Set aside to cool.
Assemble and Air Fry
- Roll out small portions of the dough into thin circles or squares. Place a spoonful of filling in the center. Bring the four corners together to create a parcel. Repeat with remaining dough and filling.
- Preheat your Philips Air Fryer to 200°C (400°F). Arrange the parcels in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Let them sit in the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes.
