Figs & Sweeteners

  • 8 large Figs dried
  • 2 tbsp Sugar adjust based on fig sweetness, granulated, or to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp Honey for extra sweetness and depth of flavor, optional

  • 1 Fig for garnish, fresh, sliced

Instructions
 

Prepare the Figs

  • Soak 8 dried figs in hot water for at least 30-40 minutes to soften. Drain the water and roughly chop the figs.

Blend the Milkshake

  • Combine the chopped figs, 3 cups of chilled milk, 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar (or to taste), and 1-2 tablespoons of honey (optional) in a high-speed blender.
  • Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

Serve and Enjoy
