About Cocktail Kababs

What could be better than indulging in a medley of vibrant fruits for dessert? These Cocktail Kababs bring together juicy persimmons, strawberries, cantaloupe, oranges, and apple, creating a delightful fusion of flavors and colors that are sure to touch your heart with every bite.
Serve them as a refreshing snack, a brunch centerpiece, or a guilt-free dessert. Enjoy these fruit kebabs as they are, or elevate them with a drizzle of chocolate. For an extra special treat, I love topping mine with my all-time favorite—lush coconut cream.

Instructions

  • Wash all the fruits and cut them in bite sized pieces.
  • Arrange all of them on skewers and place them on a serving platter.
  • Eat them as it is or top them with toppings of your choice, like chocolate. I used coconut cream, which not only serves as a unique topping but also enhances the flavours of all the fruits.

Recipe Notes

Additional Tips

  • For extra flavor and a touch of elegance, lightly brush the fruit pieces with a mixture of honey and fresh lime juice before threading them onto skewers; this also helps prevent browning, especially for apples and pears.
  • If serving as a brunch centerpiece, arrange the kababs vertically in a clear vase or tall glass filled with crushed ice to keep the fruit chilled and visually appealing.
  • To add a fun textural contrast, roll the assembled kababs in finely chopped pistachios or toasted coconut flakes before serving.
  • For a boozy adult twist, briefly soak the fruit chunks in a splash of orange liqueur or elderflower syrup before assembling the kababs.
