About this Recipe

Regular consumption of cabbage or cabbage juice can provide a lot of anti aging benefits to our skin. It is a good source of weight loss. It has vitamin A, C and k. Here is the combination of cabbage and jackfruit.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 3 leaves of cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated cabbage
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 3 tsp couscous paste
  • 3 tsp coconut paste
  • 3 green chilli
  • 3 spring onion strips
  • 3 tsp mustard sauce
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3 tsp mustard oil
  • Fried jackfruit pieces
  • Salt to taste
How to cook?
  1. Take 3 cabbage leaves big sizes for parcel.

  3. Jackfruit should be tender.

  5. First boil then drain out the excess water. Then fry the jackfruit pieces.

  7. Fried jackfruit should be marinated with curd, grated cabbage, turmeric powder, green chilli, couscous paste, coconut paste, mustard sauce salt and oil.

  9. Now fold like parcel tie with spring onion strips. Then shallow fry.

  11. Take out the cabbage parcel.

  13. Open the parcel and serve with steam rice.

Soft and tasty. Jackfruits should be tender.
