Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for the Perfect Aam Ka Murabba
- Choose the Right Mangoes: Select firm, unripe green mangoes for the best tangy flavor. The key is finding mangoes that are still slightly sour.
- Roast the Cumin: Roasting the cumin seeds before grinding enhances their flavor and aroma. Do this in a dry pan over medium heat until fragrant.
- Adjust Sweetness: Taste the murabba as it cooks and adjust the amount of sugar according to your preference. Some mangoes are naturally more tart than others.
- Sterilize Jars: For longer storage, sterilize your jars before storing the murabba to prevent spoilage. Wash them thoroughly in hot, soapy water and rinse well.
